  • Photographer: Central Coast Photography. JP was amazing. Such a nice guy to be around, full of compliments all day. He was so chill and took such natural beautiful shots. He was fantastic.
  • Videographer: Marry Me Movies. Jesse was amazing. Made us all feel so comfortable, very lovely guy and was so nice to everyone. He was full of compliments all day and made everyone just smile and be happy.
  • Music: Silent Shout. Nate… His voice was so beautiful, getting everyone ready for the night to come, he was such a lovely guy. Then we also had Sam DJ for one hell of a party.
  • Venue: Circa 1876. Everyone here was amazing, food was spectacular, drinks were flowing, everyone loved the service of the staff, the chef made the wedding cake and everyone said it was the best cake they’ve ever had. 5 star service the whole time. Helped with everything and so much more throughout the whole experience.
  • Accommodation: The Convent Hunter Valley. Grand accommodation, delicious breakfasts, helped with pre wedding stuff the night before, they were all so lovely and accommodating.
  • Stylist & Flowers: Mala Rose Events – Absolutely spectacular work, did everything via emails and it was everything we imagined plus more! So easy to talk to and deal with. The fairy lights were just incredible and the arbor was so stunning.
  • Signage/Table Names: bbcollective. The signs speak for themselves, so perfect and elegant. And the place cards as gum leaves! It was so unique and beautiful and having the wedding in the Hunter and bringing in nature inside was memorable and guests were so impressed with them.
  • Celebrant: Lillian Lyon Love – The most down to earth, chilled celebrant I have ever met. Had our first zoom appointment with wine and booking her right there and then. Couldn’t have done it without her, she relaxed us so much. She is so beautiful inside and out.

Who was a stand out vendor and why?

Obviously Sam from Silent Shout and Lillian Celebrant, JP from Coast Wedding Photography

Your venue: What made you pick this one?

It is such an elegant beautiful space naturally, such amazing spaces, the ceremony in the garden was perfect then to have the reception inside with the open deck. What’s not to love!

What was your favourite moment looking back?

The first kiss as Husband & Wife.

The real MVP…. Who was your party starter? Maybe it was you?

Soundtrack to your day? and why these songs?

Walking down the aisle– Ed Sheeran – Perfect – Because we were kids when we fell in love (Starr was 13 & Scott 15) and we didn’t know what love was.

Entering Reception – Love is in the air – John Paul Young – Fun song for all ages, and because it’s been a long time coming we knew there would be lots of love around.

First Dance– Eagle Eye Cherry – Worried Eyes – This was Starr’s parents first dance song when they got married and we surprised them with it.

Your style?

Very simple boho rustic, eucalyptus leaves and baby breath with candles as long tabled center pieces, fairty lights, simple, yet elegant and pretty

The Season? What time of year did you get married and why?

March – we met in March 2005 so March is just the month for us

Show us your absolute favourite image.

Our children got to be apart of our day! It is something we will all remember forever and something we will treasure

If you could do it all again what would you tell yourself?

Don’t be so nervous at the ceremony and walking down the aisle hahaha

What’s next for you two love birds?

We’ve had the kids, we’ve got the house, next is renos and hopefully family holidays camping around and travelling.
